A major manufacturer of industrial gases that supplies the Israeli military
Air Products and Chemicals Inc is a publicly traded company headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania that is one of the world’s largest producers of industrial gases such as oxygen, argon, and nitrogen. Air Products was founded in 1940 and operates in more than 50 countries, providing industrial gases to more than 30 industries.
The gases produced by Air Products and its subsidiaries have many applications, including food and beverage, metal welding and cutting, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and aerospace, among others.
Air Products owns many subsidiaries all over the world, including Oxygen and Argon Works in Israel, which provides gases to the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Israeli military. Oxygen and Argon Works was founded in 1960 and was acquired by Air Products and Chemicals in 2020.
