A US weapons manufacturer that makes components for multiple weapons systems used by Israel to target civilians.
Woodward Inc is a Colorado-based weapons manufacturer. The company is part of the supply chain of multiple missiles and guided bombs used by Israel. It makes fin control actuation systems for Boeing's JDAM kits and GBU-39 small diameter bombs.
Israel used two GBU-39 bombs in its May 26, 2024, airstrike on Rafah, which killed at least 45 people, mostly civilians. Bomb fragments found at the scene showed serial number 81873, which is associated with the Woodward HRT Inc factory in Santa Clara, Calif.
In addition, a picture posted on Oct. 23, 2023, of bomb/missile remnants in Gaza showed a component marked with Woodward's name and logo.
